FCA vs. Bensenville

FCA 18 vs. Bensenville 6

The FCA Force went into Week 5 with a 2-2 overall record. The Week 5 opponent was an opponent they were familiar with from Week 3, taking the first meeting 20-6. The Force lost the pre-game coin toss and had to kick off to Bensenville to open the game. The Force's opponent came out the first play of the game in an unbalanced formation sending everyone to the visitor's side of the field to line up except for the center and quarterback. They proceed to throw a pass on the confused Force defense for a 60 yard score. After failing to convert the extra point the score stood 6-0 Bensenville.

The Force answered in typical fashion with a nice scoring drives set up by the running tandem of Kiebles & Gainer. The drive ended with a short TD around the right corner by Gainer. After the point after failed the score moved to 6-6. The defense came back to play and play with a vengeance. After moving the chains only once, the Force stopped Bensenville at mid-field. Following two consecutive defensive stops The Force answered with a long pass by Nick Johnson to Amir Williams to set up a red zone scoring drive TD by Joey Gainer again. After the extra point failed the Force went into half time up 12-6.

The second half was more FCA Force with a long TD reception hauled in by Amir Williams, again by Nick Johnson, moving the score to 18-6. The game was in hand for The Force after the third and final score, while the defense took over. Another standout in the game on offense was Liam Kolinski taking the snaps. Kolinski scrambled on three plays for a combined yardage of 40 yards. Virtually everyone chipped in on defense including another stand out game by Jackson Whiknanck, Timmy Jourdan, Keenan Shoberg, James Rucker, and Dylan Jung.

Coach Rucker was proud of his team today. "We came out and took care of business," Rucker said. "They came out and made adjustment in our second meeting of the season. We played tough to put us back to 3-2 heading into the final 3 week of the regular season." The FCA Force will be on the road next week to play a tough Pee Wee division Darien team next Saturday (9/27/18).
